Mission

The Mission of the Trust is to promote, support, market, create awareness, fundraise, empower, guide and advocate for organisations and individuals in the field of all forms of abuse within the beneficiaries of vulnerable groups, including women, children, disabled, lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans-sexual, and abused men, regardless of race or culture, through partnership formation.

Vision

The Vision of the Trust is to become a prominent advocate and activist for anti-abuse activities in South Africa and where possible, internationally.

Values

The activities of the Trust will be undertaken with values of:

  • Compassion – for those that have faced any issue of abuse and believe they are lacking self-worth.

  • Sensitivity and privacy – to ensure that the victims’ identity are protected.

  • Understanding – individuals feel no one understands their situation. This is indeed not the case with the Campaign, headed by a survivor who regained the sense of being and empowered female.

  • Mutual respect – respect individuals’ choices and the choice of the Trust to be vocal.

  • Integrity – for members and partners to act in accordance with the Trust’s values and mission.
